Dress Code 2024-2025

Attire that disrupts the educational process, threatens the learning environment, endangers the health and safety of students or any others will not be tolerated.

NO BACKPACKS WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE 2024/25 SCHOOL YEAR

Fanny packs no larger than 4"x 8" are permitted.  Lunch boxes are for lunch, not snacks. Food will be confiscated if opened before or after lunch.

Nothing worn may not contain offensive/inappropriate language or symbols.

STUDENT ID’S MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.

Students in violation of the dress code will be directed to the office to contact home for proper clothing and will be placed into ISS until they meet the dress code policies set forth by Lake Gibson Middle School.

LGMS Dress Down Days

Students MUST abide by all dress code regulations set forth in the Polk County Public Schools Code of Conduct. Dress down days may have specific regulations for that day.

Student Supply List 2024 - 2025

*Reminder, students cannot carry backpacks of any kind for the 24-25 school year.  Supplies will be kept in the subject area classrooms.  

Elective Courses:

These courses will have additional supplies and may have lab fees.
